<p>For my Physics Minor I have been participating in research related to the space elevator. To figure out all the forces present on the climber as is goes up the tether I created a simple diagram to model it. It will be good for visualization purposes and brainstorming. This is the first rendition so im sure there are some issues with it. Here is the image version and pdf of it.</p>
